I stopped using permanent color to cover my grey hair about 3 years ago; I didn’t want the commitment. I began using a demi hair color which covered my grey about 75%. After a while, I decided I wanted to see how much grey I did have and what the pattern was. So I began using a 5 minute color which lightly blended the grey. Applying that hair color along with regular haircuts, I was able to get to my natural hair color this past February 2017 and I LOVE IT! This process took about 1 ½ years because I wear my hair long.
I have inspired a few women to begin the transition as well!
